Join us on Sunday, April 23, for Serve Our City, a day where we leave this building to serve in a variety of opportunities throughout Nashville. Choose an opportunity below, and register to become a volunteer. Youth Encouragement Services Who:  30 Volunteers (kid friendly) When:  Sunday April 23, Worship 10-11am, Lunch 11- Noon; Work 12pm-2pm Where:  YES McIver Center, 515 McIver Street, Nashville What:  Clean up McIver Center facility, gutter cleaning, popsicles and kickball with neighborhood kids Needs: ladders, gloves, cleaning supplies Led by:  Jason Pagel   Carpenter’s Square/Nations Church Who:  30 Volunteers (kid friendly) When:  Sunday, April 23, Worship at 11am, Lunch at Noon, Work 1-5pm Where:  Carpenter’s Square, 3016 Nolensville Pike, Nashville What:  Help with building repairs, painting, demo, light construction work, trash pickup Led by:  David Sciortino   Napier Spring Fling Who:  75 Volunteers (kid friendly) When:  Saturday, April 22, 1-3pm **POSTPONED TO SATURDAY, APRIL 29** Where:  Napier Community Center, 73 Fairfield Street, Nashville What:  Help provide a fun afternoon for our friends at Napier! Join us for a cook out, inflatables and other games. Connect with families and establish relationships that open the door for serving in the Napier community in the future. Needs:  Set up, serve food, connect with kids, play games, clean up Led by:  Ashley Miller   Tennessee Prison Outreach Ministry Who:  100 Volunteers (kid friendly) When:  Sunday, April 23, Work 2-4pm, Eat 4-5pm, Worship 5-6pm Where:  TPOM Re-Entry Center, 136 Raines Ave, Nashville What:  Yard work, planting, landscaping, hygiene pack assembly, setting up ministry kitchen and break room, decorating bulletin boards, writing cards of encouragement to people in prison Needs:  Residential landscaping tools such as rake, hoe, shovel, trowel and gloves Led by:  Randi Baxter   Nashville Inner City Ministry Who:  50 Volunteers (kid friendly) When:  Sunday, April 23, 10-2pm Where:  Nashville Inner City Ministry, 1000 Apex Street, Nashville What:  Ride along with kids on buses Sunday morning and worship with our friends at Inner City Church of Christ.  Share a meal, and then serve together in and around NICM campus. (Note: 10-15 will be building a shelter and will need to focus on this particular project the entire 4 hours) Needs:  Ride buses, connect with kids, serve food, cleaning, landscaping, organizing, pantry collection (view list of needed items) Led by:  Zach Baldwin   Joelton Church of Christ Who:  50 Volunteers (kid friendly) When:  Sunday, April 23, 10-2pm Where:  Joelton Church of Christ, 3541 Old Clarksville Pike, Joelton What:  First we are worshiping, encouraging, and sharing a meal with the Joelton church family. Then we are assembling metal shelving for their food pantry, and assembling food bags for Joelton Elementary students.
