Day 28 / Luke 15:8-10
HHCC   -

Hello! This is Ella Perez in HHYG and this is my reflection for Luke 15:8-10:

Luke 15: 8-10 references the silver coins that Palestinian women received as a wedding gift. These coins held lots of sentimental value similarly to a wedding ring and to lose one would be very upsetting. So, this passage compares the joy someone would receive at finding their lost coin to the rejoicing of angels over a repented sinner. The Lord rejoices over every one of his children choosing him and being brought into the Kingdom. In the same way, the Lord also grieves over every loss. The Lords love for us is so intentional and personal. The Lord chases down our hearts and relentlessly loves us not because he thinks he needs to but because he wants to. We belong to a God whose love is unconditional and infinite. The Lord loves every single one of us and he will never stop wanting us to let him into our hearts.
