Jack Locke and his brother-in-law, Chuck, arrived safely in Banner Elk, NC, at 3 AM this morning.

-Tough roadways, washouts, high winds, downed power lines and trees.

-Travel time 8 hrs to Banner Elk, normally 5 hrs

- Food was welcomed with tears by people standing in line at the town hall before sunrise.

- Money used to buy supplies has already been covered by donations immediately made yesterday. Thank you for your quick response. Of course, more money is needed.
