The Story
We will focus on Acts 1:1-11, the story of Jesus giving his last instructions to his
apostles and ascending into Heaven. Please read the passage and be familiar
enough with the details that you are able to tell the story without reading it.

Prayers of God's People Prayer time focuses on being ready, waiting, and watching for the Holy Spirit to come and move in our church.
Pray for a renewed desire to be gracious receivers of God's mercy and a resolute desire to follow him.
Pray that we will believe that God is good and that His kindness will lead us to repentance.
Pray that we will listen for the Holy Spirit, dare to act when the Spirit speaks, and be able to see the Spirit moving in others around us.
