Sunday Classes Summer 2025
June 15 - August 3
ADULT CLASSES BEGINNING JUNE 15
Finding LIFE in a culture of DEATH – Rubel Shelly (Room 212)
This series explores the Christian response to some of our twenty-first-century culture’s joy-killing and faith-destroying features: shame, loneliness, doubt, greed, indifference, anxiety, and grief.
Welcoming the Holy Spirit: How God’s Spirit Forms and Transforms Our Lives – Leonard Allen (Room 207)
By the end of the twentieth century, the doctrine of the Spirit was no longer the awkward stepchild of Christian theology but had become a center of focus. Christian leaders are realizing that the Spirit’s presence and power are not secondary but central to the Christian life and the mission of God.
Spiritual Transformation: God’s Generous Initiative, Our Earnest Response – Carlus Gupton (Room 214)
God strongly desires for us to know him deeply. His love invites us into full participation in his nature. We grow when our wholehearted engagement meets His gracious initiative.
Learning About God (and yourself) from Vivid Bible Stories – Joe Beam (Room 215)
Let’s take a new and very different look at Bible stories to find how God interacts with us and how we interact with God.
Young Adults: By the Word of Their Testimony – Hayden Parrish (Room 205)
Each week, young adults will share their faith journeys, reflecting on how God has shaped their lives. The class will explore the power of our testimonies as we witness Christ’s victory in our lives and look for ways to share our personal stories with others.
College: Questions Jesus Asked – Abby Jordan (Room 210)
The questions Jesus asked were never just for quick, surface-level answers – they were invitations to transformation. In this series, we’ll sit with the questions Jesus asked His followers, allowing them to reveal our doubts and desires, challenge our thinking, and transform our hearts. As we engage with His questions, we’ll discover more of His character and what it means to walk closely with Him.
SALT: “Being Recreated” – Dr. John Kennedy (Room 209)
Includes discussions about how we process and experience the challenges of life spiritually, physically, and emotionally.
