The Dwelling Place Program (run by Agape) has recently been implemented to promote and support healthy pregnancies and births by meeting the tangible needs of individuals and families. We are in search of volunteers to help meet three specific needs:
Volunteer Opportunities:
1. Transportation – getting clients to doctor’s appointments, job interviews, and food drives.
2. Translation services – many clients are Spanish speaking. Typically, this can be done over the phone
3. Financial literacy training – many of the moms could benefit from learning basic budgeting/savings strategies. Volunteers who have experience leading training in this area would be of great help.
*** Any volunteer interacting in person with clients will need to complete a background check, fill out a volunteer form, and watch a brief training video.
