It’s not always easy to follow Jesus. You find yourself in places you didn’t expect. One moment you are miraculously handing out pieces of bread to thousands of people and the next you are in the middle of a storm and Jesus seems nowhere to be found. Sometimes it seems like Jesus is the fan favorite and other days it seems like everyone around you is walking away from Him. But then He looks right at you and asks, “You don’t want to leave too, do you?” And you are reminded all over again, there are no substitutes. Where else would we go? He really is the One and only, even when He is not the most popular.
