The Transformational Word
The Beatitudes have been interpreted in countless ways. Perhaps the most common is to see them as “steps to happiness.” In this year’s Connect at Harpeth Hills, we want to see them as the description of a seasoned, mature, and blessed kingdom personality. Christ’s disciples come to this stage of maturity by rooting ourselves deeply in the narrative of Scripture and being transformed by the Spirit.
