The best kind of projects are those that happen when everyone pitches in. There is a confidence that comes when dad helps. There is a joy that comes when we are working together. Somehow the work doesn’t seem as difficult. The day doesn’t seem as long. And even when things get really difficult, sharing the burden not only lightens the load, it connects the family. There is a sense that we are in this together regardless of what is required.
