Sneedville

Sneedville is an isolated town of 1,200 located seventy miles northeast of Knoxville in the Appalachians. Currently, 38% of people in Sneedville live below the poverty line compared to 14% for the rest of the state. Harpeth Hills works with Run4Water to support Sneedville in several ways.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: helping with educational needs, assisting in a dental clinic (additional dentists needed), assisting Run4Water teams in facilitating access to clean water, helping with small construction projects in the homes of people who may or may not be in a place to accomplish the project (because of lack of money, knowledge or physical support), Thanksgiving food distribution, prayers for the Sneedville community.
