For all sorts of reasons…people pretend.
People pretend to have something they don’t.
People pretend to be something they’re not.
People pretend they’ve experienced something they haven’t.
People pretend to know. People pretend to care. People pretend to love.
People pretend.
The tragic irony?
Pretending hurts people…many people…most people...in some sense all people.
It would be difficult to find a person who has not been hurt at some point by pretending.
What we need is authenticity. What we need is sincerity. What we need is honesty.
What we need is truth.
And because we’ve all been hurt by pretending, we’re understandably a bit skeptical.
So what we need is truth…verified.
